Taste Of Thailand - Sumter

We recently moved to Sumter and, being fans of Thai cuisine, decided to give this restaurant a try. First off, the service was incredibly slow, though the staff were friendly. We ordered the pad Thai spicy, but it turned out to be quite bland and mild, far from what we were hoping for. As military members who have traveled a lot, we expected a more authentic taste of Thailand that could benefit from a stronger use of spices and quicker service. Also, I should mention that there was no sushi offered, which was disappointing. We’ve decided to stick with Thai Chili on Peach Orchard Rd, which is still our top choice for Thai food in Sumter, SC! Onward we go...

My husband and I absolutely love the Pepper Steak at this restaurant. I highly recommend it to all of our family from the North when they visit—they simply adore it!

I've been a loyal customer for years, and I have to say that your green curry is the best I've tasted compared to anywhere else in the world. My wife loves the pumpkin curry as well. In fact, she sent me out today to check out the lunch buffet again, as we want to enjoy the variety you offer post-COVID.
