Giovanni's New York Pizzeria

This review is primarily based on customer service. The taste of pizza, which for the lack of personality, from which the shop owner seemed. Nice young man trying to help me was almost cursed before me because he did his job CORRECTLY. Poor kid didn't deserve it, and I can only imagine how it's for the entire staff once the shop is closed. .

Yeah, baby! I used to come here a lot, but my job changed, and I think this is my 1st time back in a few years, and it's just as good as I remember. 2 slices of pizza, yum. Great service, great pizza. It's actually not that far, so I'll be back. ?

The waitress increased the dining experience exponentially! She came by and asked if we wanted to hear her joke, super friendly and sweet. It was a dad joke ? We got lots more food but dug into everything before taking pictures. I like that the wings weren't tossed, I like the dip control! Good portions, we shared dishes and took some home!

The thin crust is surprisingly good for New York-style pizza. The slices are delicious, and I really enjoyed them. There's a generous amount of toppings too. They also offer deep-dish pizza, but I didn't get a chance to try that during this visit.

Giovanni's offers some of the best pizza I've encountered in the Bay Area—truly a hidden gem! A friend and I visited on a weeknight and were able to find a table right away. While there were a few other diners, the place was not overcrowded and could probably accommodate around 50 people. I ordered the small vegetarian pizza, and although it took a bit of time to arrive, it was well worth the wait! The portion is generous enough to easily satisfy two people, so it's great for sharing. Each slice was perfectly crafted with the ideal balance of cheese, sauce, and fresh vegetables. I highly recommend it!
