Was not busy at all and was quickly sitting on the front after my order. The order came quite fast, but it was fresh and delicious. Lots of slices and aromas in Biryani, not too spicy (I went for mild), although the specified Rita is not a ton for Biryani. The garlic naan was phenomenal, crispy and huge I had to take the other half home. Finally, the free chai was sweet and a nice touch to finish the meal. I also brought her Gobi Manchurian here to go what was great. Come back.
I went to lunch during a weekday (on Thursday) and ordered golconda hühnerbiryani and guntur special chickenbiryani. both are very oily. the oil literally slides in biryani. the rice is completely oily and it feels like eating biryani with oil. Moreover, it was 100f outside and they didn't turn on ac, they only have one fan that was used for other tables. we sweated like everything and it was much better out than in the restaurant. overall had worst experience. it looks like they're just focusing on a week-long basis. I visited the same place before the kovid and had great experience.
Sankranthi is always busy at the weekend. as soon as we went on weekdays, it was not crowded. but we did not like the quality of eating. the buffet price has risen. we paid $100 for four people. there is always waiting time for weeks. goat biryani was not really a biryani. they added fried goats to cooked basmati reis. chicken biryani was good. andhra huh curry was tasty good, but it smells like uncooked chicken. punugulu were great. naans too. we all like their tee. methi huh was good too. Goat curry and chicken curries contained more heavy than pieces. we had four dessert options (double ka metha, coconut office, gulabi jamun, and kersar.) they had no mango leti that we missed immensely. pulihora was also great.
I ordered gongura wiper biryani, 7 slice cubes, it was sour, no spices added in it. Lot of white rice. It was a waste of money. It tasted like Gongura and wiper in a rice. $17.99 for biryani $1.7 Revenue Tax and 15% Tip, total $21 only for pure rice and some slice cubes???
Tasty goat biryani. Gongura flavor was very new to me, and I enjoyed it very much. Also, extra spicy is really spicy!!
