Contribuisci feedbackI visited this small restaurant wanting to place an order, but unfortunately there was no option to do so. The place seemed too sketchy for my liking.
I recently had the opportunity to dine at this local hidden gem called Sunrise Restaurant after reading fantastic reviews online. Despite my initial hesitations, I decided to give it a try and provide my honest review. This family-owned establishment is a typical hole-in-the-wall eatery that I always love to support. While my expectations were not completely met, I understand that it is difficult for restaurants to cater to everyone's individual tastes. The lady who greeted me at the door was very friendly, and the contactless pickup system was a bit unusual but understandable given the current pandemic situation. The fried rice was delicious and packed with meat, with a clean and light soy sauce flavor. The boneless ribs I ordered turned out to be roasted pork instead, lacking a bit of fat but still tasty. The pork noodles were too salty for my liking and could have used a touch of sweetness. The moo shu pork was flavorful and authentic, but I would have preferred traditional pancakes instead of tortilla wrappers. The chicken wings were crispy and delicious, but the oil used seemed a bit old. The Mongolian beef had a good amount of meat with a medium spicy sauce that was enjoyable. Overall, it was not a bad dining experience, and there is definitely room for improvement. I hope that the owner or others reading this review understand that I am simply offering constructive feedback to highlight some areas for enhancement at this establishment.
On my first visit to this restaurant, I ordered honey garlic chicken expecting chicken wings with the usual honey garlic sauce. However, I was disappointed to receive chicken nuggets covered in a thin, vinegary garlic juice. When I called to address the issue, the restaurant insisted that this was their version of honey garlic chicken. They offered to exchange the food or provide a refund, but when I arrived in an Uber, they claimed I had to contact customer service to receive a $10 refund within 5-7 days. This was frustrating as my main concern was the incorrect food, not the money. The restaurant did not provide the correct sauce as advertised on their website, leaving me with dry nuggets. They took back the food but did not refund me on the spot, showing me an entry of the refund that was not processed online. It was unprofessional and I am still without my food or refund. Waiting 5-7 days for $10 is unnecessary.
Huge fan of the place. great service, the restaurant owners and the server are super nice. you eat is something of the best I had in the opposite. my favorite is huh with brokkoli and pfeffer garnelen. I have recommended the place for all my friends and they all love it! highly recommended!
Bad food, bad service and a bunch of excuses of why their food is skimpy and not good, never coming back, there is many better places in sunrise. I ordered the lunch special I was expecting to get pork fried rice with chicken and broccoli. Instead I got plain rice with loads of broccoli and two small pieces of chicken. When I called to inform them the lady on the phone was very rude and told me to order something else next time instead of practicing customer service. This was my first and last time ordering from these ppl
