We were surprised by the price increase and the smaller portion sizes. The tabuli and garlic sauce we asked for were also lacking. My partner wanted to return, but I felt like we were being overcharged. We're thinking of trying Sultan's Table next time. It's a shame to see a long-standing institution like Fatimas disappoint its customers by raising prices and reducing portions. We mentioned our experience to friends and they all agreed it's not worth going back there anymore. It's a pity to see greed take over.
Fatima's was once a renowned establishment. It is disheartening to see that it has departed from its Lebanese roots. I will defer to the opinions of other reviewers before returning.
I was hoping for a nice Sunday dinner and a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, this restaurant was a disappointment. The menu options were limited, and the dishes we ordered were not enjoyable. The crispy cold meat was not like traditional shish kebabs, the beans were tasteless and watery, and the falafel was overcooked. The presentation of the dishes was also lacking, with too many unnecessary garnishes. Additionally, the restaurant was overpriced and the service was poor - the staff did not even smile. I would not recommend this restaurant, as there are many other Lebanese dining options available that are much better.
For the first time in about 40 years. nothing had changed, only everything older and shady. we have the $35 banquet, but only vegetarian. Do not eat much, as we ordered the banquet for 5 people, the staff had to pray for more, reluctantly. They gave us a little more soggy cauliflower and mushy bean. but still accuses us of another $11 for 5 extra felafels, as they would not contain it in the banquet. Apart from the lady fingers, everything was overboiled or warmed up again. so many better Lebanese restaurants that are not so close to their food or quality.
I’m a huge fan of Lebanese food but the only good thing about Fatima’s is the lady fingers, which are amazing. The mixed plates are seriously over priced at $32 for what is pictured, coming with one piece of bread. Honestly the food is of...average quality for Lebanese, but the mixed plate from Abdul’s is cheaper and absolutely brimming with everything you’d want. For $32 I would have been happy if they just gave me one extra piece of bread, though I’m not sure my “mixed meat platter combo” is even enough food to warrant a second piece of bread, double the size at Abdul’s for cheaper.
