Service was very pleasant knowledgeable however either they were short staffed or just unobservant, as were left for long periods without service. One thing to note is that the noise levels made it difficult for our group of 4 to hear each other across the table.
I've been to the Dolphin Hotel on many occasions and always had a great time! The food, wine and service have always been very good, everyone on my table loved what they ordered. The Dolphin have now introduced Aperitivo from 5-7 Sunday through Thursday and it's a great addition to the offering. Already can't wait to go back!
What an easy night out great food, airy, beachy setting in the restaurant, fantastic service and excellent atmosphere. The bar was really noisy but not much you can do about that at 7pm on a Friday night. So given we were catching up with friends getting to the restaurant at 8.15pm was a relief as we could chat properly. Will definitely be back.
The perfect location for a get-together with the gang. Good food, great atmosphere and very friendly, informative staff.
Disappointing. The noise from patrons and music was VERY intrusive. Dining area overcrowd with tables, barely 30cms (12 inches) between tables. My partner and I were almost touching foreheads when talking. Food over rated and over priced. I ordered spaghetti with blue swimmer crab… I think there was one small piece on top but that was it. No flavour apart from diced tomatoes which I 'm guessing came out of a can. My partner had a risotto. The portion was extremely small, barely an ice cream scoop full. The waiter… what can I say, arrogant and wearing oversized black horn rimmed glasses. When my partner queried his entree, the waiter responded with… if you 'd asked I could have told you … Bring back the old Dolphin pub please.
