Redhouse Plaice - Swindon

Unfortunately, my recent visit to Redhouse Plaice Fish Chips was disappointing due to noticeably smaller portion sizes. The kebab, priced at £5.90, lacked a sufficient amount of meat and left me feeling unsatisfied. While the meat was tasty and well-seasoned, there simply wasn't enough of it. Even though the classic fish and chips were still delicious, the reduced portion sizes took away from the overall experience. The lack of filling portions left me feeling like I didn't get my money's worth. Redhouse Plaice should consider reevaluating their portion sizes to ensure that customers leave feeling satisfied and valued.

The quality of the food at this restaurant has significantly declined. If you bring up this issue to the manager, you will be spoken to rudely, similar to how he treats his staff. This creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for customers. The manager comes across as pretentious and focused on making money rather than serving good food. He does not take any constructive feedback. I feel bad for the young employees who are bossed around by him.

I had previously given a positive review for this restaurant, but my recent visit was disappointing. The young server had a bad attitude and seemed disinterested in providing good customer service. The food was great, but the attitude of the staff needs improvement.

Placed my order and waited over half an hour while 10-15 other customers came in and left with their orders. Felt like an idiot hanging around but had paid, so no choice. The food was OK. Average I guess.

Walked all the way down to the store at 9pm Saturday as hours state until 10pm. They close at 9pm ,so a heads up for anyone travelling there. Save yourself a wasted journey.
