I ordered 5 whole catfish, there was only 4 in the case, so an older woman told that very nasty young man to go get a box from the back, when he came back it was fillets, I said “I am sorry but I wanted whole catfish” He got nasty, snatched the fish off the scales gave me a nasty look and stormed to the back! As he was storming off I apologized again! He came back with my fish threw them in a plastic back without the paper, wrong me up without saying anything or asking did I need anything else, I was going to get shrimp. He just told me the total amount but never showed me what he was ringing up or the price and the register was facing him. I asked “Can you show me why you are charging me for? He very very VERY nasty said “FOR THE FISH AMD CANDY!” I asked to can you show me the weight and price. He turned the register around and said nothing else to me and instead started talking to another customer who didn’t purchase anything! I paid and said I hope you two have a great day! The NEVER said anything else! We will NOT BE BACK!!!!!!!
Fresh great salmon as well as other of fish and other seafood prepared products like Crab cakes etc
If theres a better place to get fish, I wouldn't know of it. Theres something very special about holding up a 16 inch long fish filet in front of your face and smelling *nothing* but vague salt water. It's so fresh it's like they tore it right off the fish and handed it directly to me.
Easy unloading nice people have to back in off street. That's why the 4 star's not 5
OMGG LET ME TELL YOUU!!!! This place has the best value clam chowder I've ever had! And this is coming from someone who went to college in the south and have been to a lot of different chowder places both fancy and no thrills. First of all, the vibes of this place is really cool. The servers are very nice and will try to recommend her favorite chowder style which is something that I really appreciate as I usually don't know what to get. The chowder itself is very rich and creamy but at the same time, it's also not too overwhelming to the point where it gets tiring pretty quickly. The price is at around 6 dollars if I remember for a pretty big cup which is terrific compared to the expensive prices around the area as it is along the waterfront. Parking is also very easy to find. I've been here a lot of different times and never had a problem finding parking day or night. Overall, would definitely come back and will always recommend this place to people visiting Ruston Way!!
