Been comparing with other ramen restos in Manila/Cebu City and nothing comes close to Yushoken/Mendokoro Ramenba. So happy because I still have access to the best ramen (I always order shoyu ramen basic but so good and can confirm quality is the same if not better (gyoza crispiness is *chef's kiss* at this branch. Also didn't experience having to wait because we were there earlier at 10:30 (Friday morning . A line of 10 people started forming when we left a little past 11am. Definitely still the best ramen, aji tamago, and gyoza I've had. Very rich, and chashu fat melting in your mouth goodness. Best for solo meals/couple dates I imagine larger groups will have to wait longer since seating is just at the kitchen bar, no tables.
One of the better options if they are fixed for a high quality ramen. mendokoro lies in the heart of bgc and is a heaven. I loved how organized their waiting queue system here and they are really watching limited essgemüse capacitied and follows the security protocols of the restaurant. I feel so safe here. the crew is so helpful and warm. I loved the concept of open kitchen here. I order shoyu ramen and gyoza and I loved it. shoyu ramens broth was exactly right and I love the burst of flavored and the nudes. her gyoza is also good. I would like to come back soon.
Nice ram that is worth dressing up. Don't miss her gyoza.
5.0 food taste (good quality and fresh ingredients for ramen, gyoza) 4.8 food presentation 4.5 personal friendly hospitality 4.5 very fast service 4.0 environmental friendliness (no single used utensils for din in except for plastic hygiene packaging) 4.0 space atmosphere (cleaning, but a bit small, also for waiting for eating) 4.0 wc was clean and well maintained 4.0 in the location and accessible
Rich creamy, well seasoned broth with slightly firm noodles, perfectly cooked chashu and tamago... if these are what you're looking for in a ramen then this is the place for you. Come early if you don't like waiting in line. The place is usually packed
