I had such a great time to stay in Wagaligong! The location is amazing, and my friend and I had the pleasure of a Sunrise SUP tour with Yong yi (the host). It was LIFE CHANGING! Get back 1000%!

Great place to live and rent surfboards from Dulan! For surf rentals there is a very large selection of surfboards to choose from shortboards, 7 feet, longboards, foams and hardboards, all at a very reasonable price (for Taiwan standards. I have tried some other rental locations in Taitung and around Taiwan and I can definitely say that Wagaligong is the best I have seen so far (other shops often have not as many choices and/or bad boards. They also have a shuttle service to the surf beaches that is really comfortable; and the owners really know what they are talking about when it comes to surfing, windsurfing and SUP. You also have a hostel that is quite fun to live, affordable, with really beautiful views of the mountains and the sea (especially from the roof terrace! and very conveniently located (the nearby 7-11 has some really delicious hot dogs! : and there are many other restaurants near c . I have been living there for over 2 months and I am sure there again!

The best surf school I've ever been to...big teachers, amazing waves, I'll go back next year 100%!!!! the staff and the owners are always there to help you for everything, I highly recommend wagaligong!
