Beijing House Běi Jīng Táo Yuán

Order some food for take away and it all had no taste.We got general tsos, sesame chicken, house rice, and the race cakes and it all tasted like.... bland nothing.....The rice cakes were especially chewy and bland.We spent almost $80 and the only good thing was the Crab RangoonWe're not ordering from here ever again.

I'm mostly giving this place a review because it somehow, beyond my comprehension, has 4+ stars. The service was fine and the food was seasoned well, but in every other bite I found myself chewing on bone, fat, or sinew. When I ate my leftovers the next day (because the food did taste good! I made sure to go through each piece of my duck and scrape the meat off onto my plate, leaving the plentiful amount of bone in the trash. Even following this endeavor, I STILL found bits and pieces among the meat in almost every bite I took. I'm astounded that a place could be rated so highly when I'm forced to chew as if I'm walking on eggshells

I have been a loyal customer to them until the taste of the food changed. I don't know what happened to this place, chef/owner change? This was my fav restaurant in town and it's slowly becoming an ordinary American Chinese restauranto. The lo mein taste completely different back then, it was so good, so does the fried rice, taste worse. I am very disappoint with this restaurant right now.

Spent 18 dollars to order spare ribs and everyone i bit into was 90% fat 10%sinew. Idk about anyone else but i prefer the opposite. Couldnt even eat it pure grease! maybe the other dishes are fine but this one is not worth the money at all.

My family and I ordered a bunch of food to try this restaurant for the first time but were very disappointed. We were about to dig in our wonton soups and we found MAGGOTS floating around in it. This was not shrimp skins like the restaurant is lying and saying it is. This was whole bodies of maggots as you can see in the pictures. We were disgusted and didn’t even want to eat the rest of our food because of that. We got a full refund and the restaurant apologized to us and offered us a free meal next time we go but we don’t want to go back after seeing what we saw. Hope they can get this food safety issue fixed.
