For dinner together with Coleslaw I also ordered Fried Breaded Mushroom. I picked up the order in 25 minutes. The ordered food was hot mainly mushrooms. The mushrooms and Coleslaw were good and I loved my food. I would definitely be back to have beer.
Went and sat at the bar and had a few drinks. The hockey game was up and the atmosphere was cold. A great German beer from the Oktoberfest and a good conversation for a relaxed night. Definitely would go back and eat something next time.
I had no German food in the USA, except perhaps Bavarian Grill in Plano, TX. The carving is excellent, like the potato pancakes. My wife and I loved the cozy, eclectic atmosphere inside. I wish they had a few more German beer options (I really missed being able to order Franziskaner Weissbier), but unlike this place is very authentic and delicious.
The Sauerbraten is here as fantastic as the Holstein schnitzel and a 1 litre Pilsner or two on tap is a good finish after food. The delicate marketplace always offers a good choice to go to my favorite chocolate and cheese that I cannot resist.
Saturday at 6pm was packed with a 30-minute wait-time. We all loved our orders, and I would really want to come back. However, it was clear that we were being rushed, as if yea, hurry up already cause we have people waiting ...we weren 't even done and the waiter was already asking about desert choices, another person took a plate that my wife was still working on. I understand that it was a busy night, but it 's no excuse for getting customers to rush through what would have really been a wonderful, first-time experience here.
