They expanded and opened this location and unfortunately had a fire that caused the other location to temporarily close. I would normally get my pizza from the other location but I was compelled to come up here and grab a pie since I was missing the other spot so much. The pizza here is thin, it's crisp, and its fantastic. The sauce has a natural sweetness with a little bit of tart and a nice garlic and basil flavor to it. The cost is right in line with any other pizza in the area and it smokes most of them handily. Can't wait for the other location to reopen this spring!
Food was top quality pizza place grub. Pizza (bacon slice pictured), knots, cheese fries, wings all exceeded expectations. Coming from Northern VA prices were on point and BYOB!
Terrific food all around. Everything was well prepared with care. Friendly service. Large portions too. Bathroom was gross.
Cute little pizzeria in the heart of Pocono attractions. Really happy with the food we got here. The burger was excellent and the French fries were some of the best I've ever had. The veal parm was good, but the veal was a bit on the tough side, but everything else about the sandwich was great. One unexpected highlight was the bread. The bun for the burger and the roll for the veal parm were rustic and delicious.
Been here a few times before. Ordered a fresh large pie. Pizza was yummy. Only 1 slice was burned and had a bit of charcoal on it. Otherwise the taste was good. I think the dough should be just a little thicker. Sauce and cheese are fine. Drink selection is pretty good, both coke and pepsi products with lots of teas too and lemonade. I would like to see Joe's tea too. The decoration and theme if this restaurant is awesome! I love the rustic cabin theme with all wood furniture, walls, floors and even cut logs used as accents in the kitchen room. Cons: on a cold night like tonight, only the table closest to the artificial fireplace is warm. All the other tables are freezing with a cold draft blowing through. This place could use some modern insulation or updated HVAC system to help equalizie the air temperature. Thermostat above my table says 68, but it is chilly here! Part of the heating problem is the high ceilings.. hot air rises and gets trapped up top which leaves the seating area very chilly. The second problem with the heating is that the entrance is not double sealed.. the main door leads directly to the cold outside with nothing to stop the cold air from rushing in every time the door opens. 2 easy solutions.. #1 double seal the main entrance so the customer enters a cold trap small room where outside air gets trapped and heated. Lock the second entrance (kitchen area), or double seal it as well. Then when someone enters or leaves, only warmed air from the trap room can enter the seating area. #2, turn on the 3 ceiling fans on slow speed with the blades pushing air downward. This will force the trapped ceiling air to come down.
