Arcwood Wine - TARZANA

Despite confirming our reservations, the restaurant was closed. A disappointing waste of time. Will not be attempting to dine here again.

I love going to Arcwood with my friends. Every time someone from the city visits, I love to introduce them to Arcwood. Their food is delicious, it is so a sweet place with great ambience, and their wines are also quite delicious! It is a beautiful place to enjoy a cool evening with wine. They are something on the pricier side and the food portions are very small, but I recommend ordering and sharing a few starters under the group. It can be noisy because it is on Ventura blvd and when cars pass, it becomes very loud. But otherwise it's a nice place where I like to go.

Dinner with a friend. The food here is top-notch. Loves the fried catfish. So light and crispy with house made tartaric acid. And the shrimps and grottos were delicious. This sauce! The wine was great and the service was so friendly and helpful. I just need to couple myself so I can go on all winter.

The fig and cheese starter was good. I had the burger who was okay, and my wife had Rock Steak. We ordered the dirty pommes between us. They were incredibly salty. So much so that you ruin the meal, as the taste of salt in my mouth would simply not go away. At least they took them off the bill. Service was good.

The entire experience was more than I imagine it could be. Chef Dom is extremely talented. I would eat at this place 5 days a week if I lived closet
