Empress Garden - Tecumseh

This place used to hop on the weekend. The food is decent but it seems that the owners are more focused on their take out business rather than serve their sit in customers. Very laxed service and cool reception.

I am giving this restaurant 4 stars because the egg rolls are excellent. I ordered the Szechuan chicken lunch combo and it was delicious.

We picked Empress Gardens for lunch at the last minute because of its location to where we were and where we were going.

I used to dine at this restaurant years ago, but after the owners sold it, they moved on. I decided to take a chance and order takeout. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food. The portions were generous and the prices were good. I am very happy that I gave it another try and will definitely be returning.
