Despite my OpenTable reservation, they informed us that they operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so our table was not guaranteed. We were able to secure a table easily, but unfortunately, the food arrived cold for everyone. The manager refused to close the front doors to the patio, even though the temperature was dropping into the 40s. The bolognese sauce was strange, with an overpowering taste of nutmeg or cinnamon. Overall, aside from some delicious desserts, the meal was a disappointment.
Excellent food and great service! We were going to the Tempe Improv and we were on a tight schedule. Our server timed everything just right, and we had time to spare. If you like hand crafted pizza, pasta, and bruschetta this is your place!
The pizza was great! The cheese plate was not good at all. We were so crammed in with others and everyone was yelling to hear each other.
I've dined here 3 times primarily because of it's location close to ASU for pre football game dining or pre theater dining but all 3 times, the service was very slow and just not up to par.
The food is great. I had the papardelli pasta. Others said the pizza was excellent as was the Med appetizer with olives and hummus and cheese. The breads were also notable. Excellent wine with happy hour prices. Excellent service for 5 of us, including my vegetarian niece.
