The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. The bathroom was beautifully clean. I ordered the hot bark and it was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend stopping by this place on your next visit to the area.
This is a small cafe located at the petrol station and car wash in the small town of Templeton. We stopped by after visiting the Templeton Rye Distillery and needed lunch before hitting the road. The cafe is conveniently located near the distillery, making it a popular spot for visitors. The waitress mentioned that they serve breakfast all day, which is a local favorite. I decided to try the pork tenderloin sandwich with custom toppings on the side, opting for pickles and coleslaw. The sandwich was huge, with thick tenderloin that was bigger than the bun. It was so filling that I ended up saving a quarter of it in a box for later. While the tenderloin was good, it wasn't the best I've had, but at under $7, it was definitely worth the price. The staff was friendly and efficient, even splitting the bill for our group.

Located in the small town of Templeton, this cozy cafe is situated within a gas station/truck stop. After visiting the Templeton Rye (TR) Distillery, we decided to grab lunch before hitting the road. The cafe is conveniently located near TR, making it a perfect pit stop for travelers coming from the south. The waitress mentioned that breakfast is a local favorite, but I couldn't resist trying the pork tenderloin, which came with customizable toppings on the side. I opted for pickles and onions, while condiments were readily available on the table. The tenderloin was incredibly thick and generously breaded, making it larger than the bun itself. I ended up saving a portion of my sandwich for later, as it was quite filling. While the tenderloin wasn't the absolute best I've ever had, the portion size and affordability (priced at under $7) made it worth every penny. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even splitting the bill for our group.
