The tamales were terrible - there was very little meat, and the ends were dried out and hard up to about halfway through. This was my first and last time dining at this restaurant.
Best Authentic Mexican Food Around! Great price, nice portions!
Wow! This restaurant is a hidden gem. I have passed by it countless times, as it is located in my neighborhood. After many years of walking past it, I finally decided to stop by and I am so glad that I did. It has quickly become my new favorite spot! The prices are very reasonable and the food is outstanding. I ordered the fajitas and they were so good that I had to save some for later. Even after reheating them at home, they were still delicious. The restaurant also has a small market with authentic items, including some really nice boots for sale. They serve my favorite cold drink with aloe vera for instant sore throat relief, and they even have it with strawberries, which I have never seen anywhere else in town. I absolutely love this place and can't wait to go back. I highly recommend stopping by – you can't miss the bright green building. The portions are huge, but in a good way! One fajita meal is enough for two people in my opinion.
Best tamales in Terre Haute, great tacos too! Will be back.
Wonderful small market and restaurant! Tacos were amazing. Had the waiter warn me of the spiciness of the sauce, but I’m a ghost pepper lover, so the hot sauce hit the sweet spot. (Definitely something to be careful with) The elote was perfection. If you want a go-to authentic Mexican restaurant around the north end of Terre Haute. This is the place!
