Sathars - Thanjāvūr

Good food and friendly staff. Taste can be slightly improved; Quantity was good. Served arun's cup tub ice icecreams for dessert.

Excellent non veg. Their crab lollipop are super. The meat is fresh. Other dishes served too were good. A slightly cramped staircase up to the restaurant. Not a fancy place, but clean and well served by good bearers.

It was our regular dinner place especially for birthdays etc. Current team managing restaurant seems to be different including chef. Doesn't have the sam flavors of dishes like before. Now can rank as okay for once in a while evening dinner meets.

Nice restaurant with tasty food. Need to wait for a long time to get food, but place is nice to visit with family and friends meet-up lunch and all. Mainly non-vegetarian food is tasty in tamilnadu. Don’t expect Hyderabad Biryani kind of taste here but kichidi kind of biryani is available.

Visited after 6 years. Same taste is there with good service. Paratta was fabulous. Like to meet the owner one day. I tasted the non 1st in my life at Sathars only in 2012.
