We had the board, the fig jam was so good. I had the carbonara which was very creamy and delicious and my husband had the casarecce al pomodora which was very good (you need to really like garlic). Everything was very fresh and flavorful. We will definitely be back.
First time trying this place and I ordered some stuff to go. The pizza was good and I did enjoy that but the rest of it was awful. The fettuccine alfredo had absolutely no taste. It was like eating noodles with Elmer's glue. To really make this order even better they gave us the kids mac and cheese which tasted like melted plastic. It amazes me that Pearland has both the best(Killens) and the Worst(Taglia) Mac and cheese I have ever had I my life. The rolls were stale with butter poured over the top. If you want good pasta go to Santa Barbara Italian Cafe. It was much better. Also Dan's Pizza had some of the best fettuccine alfredo I have ever had.
My first time here and it was great. Walking in the ambiance is very welcoming with warm greens all around. We were seated promptly and given a small bread basket. The bread was very good, I wish we had gotten more. The fried calamari and shrimp was very good, but I wish there was more calamari and less shrimp. The pasta I ordered was delicious and the choice of protein makes the dish more personalized. The food was served very hot, which I enjoyed very much.
Great gem of a place. The Ambience, decor and just about everything about this place is great. The food was good, the chef made a point to visit tables to talk to the patrons. The server was attentive and knew the dishes and ingredients of dishes her recommendations were great for vegetarians in our group. Great place to hold business luncheon. Place is very clean. Outdoor seating available. Plenty of parking. Best part is the glass windows allowing one to enjoy the world passing by while you dine in. Highly recommend this place it was relaxing experience.
Overall, The pasta was very good. Chicken Parmesan was delicious per my husband. For the price point vs quality; The food is a bit overpriced. Food was good not memorable. I have had better pesto pasta elsewhere. I recommend the Italian margaritas. Our server was so kind and we did get very quick service.
