The Golden Stork - The Hague

A very enjoyable experience. Sadly i expected better pillows but at least bedsheets were very clean. The rooms itself are clean but the bathrooms were what in a full booked hostel you could expect. Sadly there is no staff to make sure that some rules have to be respected at 3 o'clock where people forget keys and knock the door in the middle of the night. Food and service was also very nice. You have a nice vegetarian option that is good for what you pay. Staff is really positive and very helpful. The hostel is really close to the train station (20min walking).

Very nice staff and lots to do every night with a fun program that switches every day. This way we got to know lots of people and had great fun. The only thing that could be better is the air quality in the rooms, due to no windows and only a weak air conditioner.

I have lived in various hostels and I have never seen such conditions anywhere. claustrophobic rooms in the toilet and in the shower, omnipresent mold should be avoided with a wide berth!

They changed their menu, which was a disappointment. Her vegan hot dog used to be the best, but not anymore. We were the only ones in the café and our order was not very huge, but still came after 45 minutes. The Gammel we received with the Nachos was stinking. We wanted to make Mac n cheese with a lot of white sauce. Unfortunately we got everything dry. Not sure they plan to stay in business.
