Great vibe and the food was great! My mum literally licked the plate lol
My last review if this place was not amazing but It had been years since I was last there, so when we were heading to a movie in the neighbourhood I took the opportunity to check it out again. Instead of wine we started with a couple of Dark ‘n’ Stormys, which were long and a bit too sweet for my taste. I had seen the scotch egg promoted online and we tried this as a starter and it was indeed delicious. My companion remarked it shouldn’t have been called a scotch egg because the name evokes smelly lunchbox leftovers from the eighties, and this didn’t do it justice. We ordered the bolognese gnocchi and spaghetti peperonata as mains and both were quite nice but not standout. The side of broccoli with artichoke and almond cream was very good with its crisp ‘chippy’ potato straw. It was a decent amount of food and we left very full. I’m back on board and this is a nice place for a date night dinner.
Vegan degustation here is really not worth it. Plus the staff seemed pretty uninterested in us. They should probably stick to the $3 tacos.
Best vegan food in the area. Gnocchi was delicious, soooo soft. Roast cauliflower was so brilliant, and all the wines we tried was so yummy. Thank you!!!
