Great service and hot fresh food. Although short workers the server an amazing task to get our order, then get our food. everything was hot and there were a few controls as we did. swiss chalet is usually good, but this time...was extra special

I received a very small portion of chicken in my heavy dinner. It took an hour to receive the food. The order was incorrect and we only received 4 items instead of the 6 listed on the menu. The service was slow and unfriendly. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

The food at this restaurant was excellent and the portions were huge. The service was a bit slow, but that is typical for this place. I will not hold it against the server.

This one star rating is one star too many! We tried ordering for pick-up but had to order through a Toronto agent. We seniors elected not to dine in, due to Covid-19 precautions. This was to be a Christmas treat on a pre-Christmas visit with...our sister, as we found the same meal excellent when served in Sarnia. SADLY, NOTHING to CELEBRATE ABOUT Tillsonburg 's FESTIVE MEAL. Three festive quarter chicken dinners, one white meat, two regular. We drove home, less than five minutes to table, the food in a sealed heat-insulated bag. This is the first time we were served day-old scraps of hard french fries with all three meals. The two regular quarter chicken dinners each had one bony leg and a wing with no more than half a bite of overcooked flesh. The all white meat was good in my opinion, but deemed undercooked by the diner, however! Had we felt it safe to dine in the busy (Why?, one wonders!!! restaurant, we would certainly have sent the food back and left with a demand for no charge. This franchise is a disgrace!

If Swiss Chalet had competition the other reviewers wouldn 't be writing either...our journey started in January 2021, cold food, missing items, and an uncaring franchisee, but that 's not all, have contacted head office customer service (using their form! four times and still waiting for a...resolution. They even give you a submission/reference number! Customer service rep said someone will contact me, but he didn 't know when, I asked for his sprvsr, left me on hold 10 minutes came back and said he couldn 't find him. If head office is this bad, no wonder Tillsonburg Swiss Chalet gets away with sub optimal food and service.
