The Porcupine Dante Club - Timmins

Italian food from past. I guess another place to avoid this place was great in recent years. you have always got good food that was made tasty and home. it seems as if they were more in Quebec style than the tasty

We recently inaugurated at the dante club in timmins. it was an amazing experience. Although we have thrived all over the world, and in incredible restaurants, we found the dante club eating delicious, (we are Italian,) the service friendly and attentive, the restaurant. clean and the buffet scrupulous and full choice. coffee was excellent and so were the desserts. I can't say enough about this wonderful place.

There is food is delicious, fresh, work with allergies, pasta ,lasagna is from this world, great location

The dante club has not changed much in the last 30 years. the decoration is boring white, that is it. for the Friday buffet with my 86-year-old Italian mother and 6 family members. there is no Friday buffet anymore, they have recently changed... that the menu is old Italian, and that would be okay if there was any love in it, but all we had was as sad as the atmosphere. penne arrabiatta was dry and no fragrant of heat. ross otto was made with a long defense. who does that? chicken stable was dry like dust. pickerel was full of bones. buffalo mozzarella was tasteless. only the gnocchi and meatballs were worthy to eat. the waitress needed a serious training. the wein has not offered at the table or a taste before pouring. referred to us as “You guys” stuffy and lifeless. whoever is responsible for quality control should be in his paycheck. who cooks. well, they are not Italian, I can tell them. until I hear that they have placed someone with passion and pride in responsibility, we can not give back or recommend the dante anyone. pity that there are no legitimate Italian restaurant alternatives in timmins.

I left Timmins in 1982. I go back time to time to visit family. Lunch at the Dante Club is always on the must-do list. Still the best food in Timmins.
