Dim Yum Cafe - Tinsukia

Loved the food I am a foodie who try’s all kinds of food but can’t stand the smell of eggs, so have tried them only a few times every couple of years to see if anything has changed. Well thanks to Dim Yum Cafes egg specialties I have started craving for them. Their eggs are fresh, well made and taste super yum. I have been to the cafe a few times, tried over ten dishes and got to say each and every one tasted great. Each of their egg dishes are so immersed in flavors that I didn’t realize I was having eggs. Of course for egg lovers they do have the classic omelette. Today we had tried an Egg Cutlet, this was an egg, bread and cheese dish, tasted like cheese toast only yummier. Next dish we tried was a Mysore Omelette, this was an omelette presented in a dosa style with what tasted like veg/paneer curry in the middle, it was served along with Ladi Pav (long buns, the kind common in Maharashtra), I had it like a pav bhaji, a top class dish. Last we had the Mushroom Fried, this was half boiled egg omelette topped with shredded mushroom vegetables, while we were getting the taste of mushroom eggs they were not prominent, the spice flavors were so overpowering that mushrooms haters in our group could also give it a go without a problem. This was again served with Ladi Pav on the side which goes great with such dishes. We also tried two of their coffees, both tasted great and felt like the kind one gets at one of the renowned international coffee chains. The place also has great ambiance, probably among the best in North East India. The decor's a combination of retro and chic look with its wire lamps hanging by jute ropes and stylish walls arts. The dishes price start from 70 and goes all the way 190. Our bill for five items was 650 and the three of us we were totally packed at the end of it. I found it a great value for money considering the quality of food, ambiance and the novelty of visiting a cafe in Tinsukia.

Great place for a get together with friends. Many varieties of shakes available plus the pasta is amazing.
