You are better off bringing a carrier only. Some chefs are better than others. Our chef was friendly but did not have much showmanship; he just did straight cooking and walked away a lot, going to the back. There was a lot more action and laughter coming from other tables. The food was good. We have no complaints.
Our chef Eric was fantastic. He had our party of 8 laughing the entire time. Our waitress Cara was outstanding. She made our daughter feel extra special on her graduation night. We will definitely be back and request to have those two again.
It took over 20min before a server took an order for drinks. Then the chef and server spent some time trying to figure out everyone's order Didn't eat until an hour after being seated. Good was good but overall I would not go back or recommend
Japan Inn used to be a great restaurant with welcoming environment, delicious foods and excellent service. I used to dine there with friends almost once a week but unfortunately over recent months, it has lost everything that appealed to me. I will be hard pushed to go back there again!
When I say never again! Some of the worst service ever! I will never come back to this location. To have a server or order taker demand a tip is crazy, a 2 hour wait at the table is crazy! If it wasn 't for the chef this would have been an entire disaster! Japan Inn has always been my favorite restaurant, had this location been my first visit I 'd never come back!!
