The restaurant also offers a bottle of hot sauce for an extra kick, although I found it unnecessary. I also enjoyed the Honest chowder for $12, which had a lightly creamed broth with plenty of clams, a few mussels, potato, fennel, and a hint of white wine. The seafood was fresh and added to the soup whole, remaining plump and sweet. Overall, it was a fantastic dish that I would love to have again.
I absolutely love this restaurant. I have brought at least five different friends here after raving about the food, and every time it has been amazing. Come dine here before everyone in the city discovers this hidden gem. You won't be disappointed!
The restaurant offers a wide selection of delicious vegetarian Indian dishes that are family friendly and reasonably priced. The only drawback was that the busy waiter made a mistake with our food order, but it was quickly corrected when we brought it to their attention. They also forgot one of our drinks, which we had to ask for again.
We're the typical Southern California annoying food snobs. We were totally blown away by John and the Honest Weight team. Atmosphere, table settings, multiple courses and service for 10 was the BEST and FRESHEST seafood dinning experience in recent memory. Maybe ever!! Do not miss Honest Weight!!
We'be been twice now, and both times were very pleased. The fish is as fresh as can be, the staff are knowledgeable about the products, and the meals are to die for.<br/ <br/ There was a slight mix-up with our order on the last visit, which was noticed before the meal was brought to the table. We told them it was no big deal (and meant it! , but our waiter came back a few minutes later with some complimentary oysters. WOO!<br/ <br/ I, for one am happy to have Honest Weight in the neighbourhood and look forward to many visits.
