Mezes At Rhodes At Zinnis - Toronto

When you walk down the sidewalk of Greektown and there's a large line up at one restaurant and another is half empty it's not rocket science where to eat. They brought lots of appetizers and finally lamb chops at the end. Everything was so excellent and service incredible.

We went here for dinner tonight and had a fantastic meal! We ordered a bunch of mezes to share and they were all excellent. The saganaki was so good that we ordered a second! The service was fast, efficient, and friendly.

It was a Saturday and they don't take reservation. So there was a constant line lining at the door. We waited for 20 minutes for a dinner table for 2. Food was excellent. I really enjoyed the lamb chops.

This remains one of our favourites on the Danforth, or in Toronto, when it comes to Greek food! We have been coming here since it opened , and many of the staff are still the same, so it truly is like coming home! Food is AWESOME fresh, and authentic. My favourites include the saganaki, and the calamari.....but you honestly cannot make a bad choice. Lots, too, for vegetarians and gluten free eaters!

Coming from a true Greek Canadian, this is one the best restaurants on the Danforth/Greek Town. It was the busiest on the strip this past Satursday night!!! Fantastic and original apps: Feta bruschetta, beet pita with skordalia (potatoes garlic dip). Fabulous lamb chops, the crispiest calamari.....just order the apps or "Mezes" as we say in Greek. Enjoy!
