I had seen a recommendation for this place by Simu Liu on YouTube last month and decided to give it a try. I purchased a mild beef patty to share with my son, who is typically a picky eater. To my surprise, he loved it and even finished the entire patty. I also thought it was delicious. Unlike most patties I've had before, this one had a flaky crust and the meat inside had a wonderful texture and flavor. At only $2.50 per patty, it's a great option for a quick and tasty lunch.
We ordered the beef stew, chicken dish, and bread pudding. I was impressed by the reasonable prices. The food was delicious, and the portion of the chicken dish was very generous.
I tried the sweet potato pudding at NutMegSpiced and it was amazing. After looking at their website, I can see why so many people love their treats.
This is a cozy and warm bakery in wonderful Kensington Market in Toronto. Disarmament and harassment with decent and decent personnel. Many delicious and delicious treats and beautiful bread. So sincere and inexpensive; a beautiful change of pretentious and overpriced Toronto. On a small street in Kensington.
Now I am not from Trinidad, but the kid’s best friend is...and when she says the beef patties are the closest she’s had to home then I pay attention. Did spicy beef and jerk chicken. Great stuff and hard to argue with about $2/patty!
