I went spadina st. I need a washroom. stay cafeteria was significantly cleaner than other options. I had to ask the menu to read, it was so dark. it was daylight outside. So I risked a Japanese curry. it was done right away. I imagine that the curry is a staple for many dishes. it had taste layers with curry and others. for me it was too sweet and not spicy hot. I usually don't eat a curry in a Japanese restaurant, so I'm not the best judge. that was too long roasted. but the washroom was clean and this trip that was most important.
I have visited this café multiple times and have to say that their desserts are delicious. The only thing I would suggest to management is to improve the service provided by the floor staff. If they can make this adjustment, I would gladly give them a five-star rating.
I am from Venezuela, and Latin America is known for its delicious desserts made by local street vendors. Unfortunately, I have not been home for 5 years, but when I tried the ice cream at this restaurant, it felt like I was back for a moment. They have more chic options than just cola, lemon, or grape syrup, but it brought back amazing memories for me. In addition to their food and drinks, my friend and I were looking for something sweet after dinner, and this place was perfect. They have a variety of options, but I chose the oreo flavor and my friend had mango – both were delicious! The prices are affordable and the portions are great for satisfying my sweet tooth. Not to mention, the vintage decoration and inviting atmosphere make it a charming place to visit. You won't regret it!
A friend and I stumbled onto this great little find roaming around Chinatown. We went a little overboard and ordered the mango shaved ice with mango, minced pork rice, braised pork belly rice, black sticky rice in milk with mango, fresh water melon juice with...tie guan yin tea along with peach and melon green tea. It was worth every calorie. Delicious .... The shaved mango was light, fluffy, sweet melts in your mouth.
