Tokyo Grill - Toronto

I am absolutely obsessed with their chicken katsu meal. There must be some kind of magic happening in their food, but I can't get enough of it. The preparation, presentation, and price are all excellent. The food is beyond delicious, but it is a bit frustrating that they only accept cash (apparently they haven't caught up with technology in 2015). Despite that, this is definitely a must-visit restaurant when you're in the area!

The menu at Tokyo Grill is unique, with no traditional sushi or sashimi options. Instead, they offer a variety of comforting dishes such as ramen, udon, and donburi. These dishes are perfect for a cold day and are served promptly and tastefully. While the quality may not be quite as exceptional as it was a few years ago, the food is still delicious. I tried the oyako don, which was enjoyable. The chicken was not fried, which I appreciated, but the egg could have been slightly less cooked. Overall, it was a delightful Sunday meal shared with friends. I definitely plan on returning during the winter for a steaming bowl of udon. Delicious!

I always enjoy Tokyo Grill ! It's not fancy at all but the food always satisfies. I work for a Japanese company and this is their spot for food like home. Prices are great for Japanese food. Service is clunky but friendly and instantly forgivable.

Expensive for the portions but still pretty good.. The portions are way too small!But the Donburis are pretty good.

I did takeout twice at this place, I was recommended by a friend, saying that this place is authentic jap food. First of all, I really like the food even though it's a little bit pricy. But I HATE THE SERVICE. Yes, bad service even I only did takeout! I ordered salmon teriyaki and I asked for the price. The server chekced and still told me the wrong price. Fine. She didn't tell me on phone that there's extra charges for takeout. Fine. I got there and was ready to get my food. There were two servers standing at the counter. And then one server gave me the wrong bill. Whatever. She almost gave me the wrong change (she had to redo it). The servers really need to be trained, I got really angry about the service. This is one restaurant where there's good food but bad service.
