Yianni's Kitchen - Toronto

I joined some coworkers who were in the area on training at the St. Lawrence market for lunch.  Have to make the walk now before it gets chilly outside.  I decided to go to one of my regular spots here.  Yianni's Kitchen has all day breakfast, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and entree type meals.  They did not have their stuffed peppers nor tomatoes on this visit.  I decided to try their moussaka dinner $9.00).  It came with a garden salad, rice, potatoes, and moussaka.  The moussaka is a pie made from potatoes, corn beef, egg plant, and cheese.  It was well made and not dry like at other greek fast food places.  Their flavor here is like home style cooking and it really hit the spot.  They only accept cash only.

Common right in the fabulous st. this little jewel is a must for everyone. my wife and I each had the chicken souvlaki pita and must say one of the best everywhere. beautifully grilled pita with fresh tomato loaded...and salat and 2 different sauces. the chicken was nicely grilled and very tasteful. all parts were generous. at $7.25 a piece is also worth it. staff also very friendly and hard work. You can't be missed.

Yianni’s is located at the bottom of the st lawrence market. they order and pay at the theke and find their own seat and the tables shared by other food manufacturers. the staff was friendly, but I found the bark in my gyro dry and quite...tasteless

The hotel is located in st. lawrence market in toronto, Yianni’s, a Greek cuisine restaurant is a great nut and pop place that offers a really good, affordable breakfast: home style. eating was served almost immediately and very hot. eating the breakfast here with my family instead of breaking into my hotel was a smart idea. Three of us ate for $20 Canadian dollars. service is friendly and polite. they also offer lunch and dinner. we enjoyed our fast experience here very much. highly recommended.
