Shinsen Gumi - Torrance

Love the setup they have. Cafeteria feel with good tasting ramen. I work walking distance so I come here all the time. My personal favorite is the spicy hakata ramen. Get it with an egg. So yum. And I tried some karaage today and was not too seasoned but very soft and slight crisp but very satisfying chicken. I actually really loved it with the broth on the side. Definitely liked my combination for lunch today. Try it !!!

Not surprising... But clean. Restrooms are clean. Reasonable price.

Looking to not cook tonight, we opted to go get some ramen at one of our local spots Shin-sen-Gumi 2GO. Grabbed of my favorite meals of theirs, the spicy Hakata Ramen bowl. The staff is always friendly, and take care to ensure your food experience is equally good whether you are dinning in or out.

I visited the Gardena 2 Go location after trying the Little Tokyo Fountain Valley locations. On my way back from Los Angeles, I finally decided to check this spot out. The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and offered decent service, along with a large menu to choose from. I ordered the Spicy Hakata #2 Ramen, while my wife opted for the Tonkatsu Ramen, and we got a side of Karage Chicken for our daughter. Everything was delicious, and both ramen bowls came with a side of fried onions, which made for a great topping. I don’t recall the other two locations offering this, but it really enhanced the ramen experience. We will definitely return to explore more items on the menu, as there are many offerings that you can't fully appreciate on your first visit. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for authentic ramen with great flavors and quality in Japanese cuisine.

I had a craving for oyakudon but wanted to avoid going inside any establishments due to concerns about COVID exposure, and this restaurant perfectly met both of my needs! The food was fantastic! This is an authentic Japanese eatery with a drive-thru option, making it truly COVID-friendly. They clearly indicate that masks are required for both walk-in and drive-thru orders, and I noticed they were practicing social distancing. If you're in the mood for Japanese cuisine (other than sushi), this is the place to drive to! Just a note: it's located in the same shopping center as the 99 Cent Store and the KuRa rotating sushi restaurant. Address: 18203 S Western Ave #104, Gardena, CA 90248.
