Sucre Sale - Trégastel

The steak at Sucre Sale was so good that we ate here three times during our 1 week stay! The service was always good and very efficient, even on the Bastille day when we were lucky to book a table outside with a view of the beach. Prices... are reasonable and I cannot recommend this place very much.

Stopped here for lunch, we had moules frites, a plate of crevettes and a galette complete None of us left anything, clean plates all round. Absolutely delicious Very reasonable too, sat on the outside tables, watching the bodyboarders and the boats, Very pleasant way...to spend a couple of hours Can highly recommend

I come here all the time and I am Coeliac so have gluten-free to eat all the time. The gallets are 100% ble noir, which is gluten-free and there are so many possibilities. There are also many GF-Safe steak or...Seafood options. It is always clean, the staff is friendly and the outdoor seats overlook the beautiful sea view.

Our first visit to this restaurant (for lunch) was so pleasant we went back twice for dinner and for yet another lunch. The location is superb, as the beachfront terrace affords a terrific view of the pink granite coast and its impressive boulders. The service...and food were great. Don't miss the soup de poisson! It's a meal in itself, served with rouille and grated Emmental, and a baguette on the side. The salad with Warm Chèvre (a staple in many French restaurants as I later discovered) was excellent — melted chèvre served on little toasts, lettuce, tomatoes and a fabulous dressing with anchovies. Yum! Hold onto your hats (and napkins) though, as it can get extremely windy on the terrace.

Arrived at restaurant at peek time on a sunny August evening. The patio overlooking the beach was nearly full and inviting, the menu seems varied to please everyone. We waited patiently for a waitress to show us a table for 3 only to be disappointed...as they were only offering table for 2... We were offered a tiny table not suitable for 3 adults or ... nothing! There was clearly other table (Why no push 2 tables together? but obviously that was not making enough profit for the business... I want to highlight that I am a native French speaker so there was no issue with the linguo, only an issue with gready staff not ready to be cusotmer focus, theirloss! Went to the nearby Transit . Food was ok and the staff Very welcoming...
