Contribuisci feedbackI've been down to Savannah twice. The first time was 2018 and the food was good, the staff was a little rude. We arrived at 5:00 when they opened and had no reservations. They would have thought that the world would end by the reaction of the woman who acted as hostess. We sat at the front window, it was hot and cold. The chairs were sloppy, so much that we actually exchanged our chairs with the empty table next to us. At the time we left, only some other tables were sitting on the first floor. So I'm uncertain why we needed reservations. Quickly until 2019, a whole year later. This time I made reservations to avoid the reaction of last year. Again, the restaurant was empty when we arrived, and when we left a few tables we were sick. The food this time was better than 2018. The Whisky-Kirschen chicken was excellent, like the Hummer-Ravioli. The shrimp bisque was well the French onion soup better. The only negative was that the waiter would have been better to keep our water grills filled because we only drank water and only took one of our Dessert orders and ran away quickly without taking mine. Overall, the food is very good, especially with the limited selection of upscale restaurants in the area, but the staff could use some improvements.
Wonderful food....too bad it only goes to 5 stars cooking deserves a 10.... Service was excellent except I ordered a bottle of Syrah only French wine on the menu and our always so gracious server presented a completely different bottle of a French Syrah... I said it was good. Thank you. Eating excellent cudos to the always so talented cook... constantly had to ask for silver for the next course.no problem Zach to rescue a sweet young server participant very attentive to you needs. Alll in all I had a wonderful experience and culinary experience. The house is a Majestic Queen Anne just beautiful. Thank you. Sandy for you Service and Zach you Rock Young Man Chef, Rock. Next August I will be freends for a recurring culinary experience with very special sister.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. High class with exquisite food. Sure a jewel. I spilled this food with friends. Amazing.
We sat right away. Nick was an excellent waiter, knowledgeable and with a great personality. The goal was to have an alternative to The Whitney in Detroit. The white plastic table cover (over white linen) was regrettable, and the ambience is less than perfect. Other discussion topics of guests (medical) did not help. The cheese fritter appetizer was exceptional, the onion soup was small, needed more cheese. While the soup had dominated the cup, the actual rolls of bread were breathtaking. Loved the whisky cherry chicken, although there is no whisky taste. The coffee-dusted ribey was perfectly spiced, but clearly in medium-sized rarity, an experience that was duplicated by us from the table. This can be worth a second attempt.
For a first time dinner, did not disappoint. Had a wonderful filet dinner, definitely a revisit place. Cozy, home feel, with a fancy feel all the same.
