Bella Luna Pizzeria - Trinidad

Five years ago (time flies! I wrote:Oh so good. Get the Baloo pizza and have them add roasted garlic. You're welcome.Today I write:I finally branched out and tried the Paulie pizza and had them add roasted garlic. (Can you tell that I like garlic? Wow. Now I have TWO favorite pizzas!Photos: The whole pizza is a Paulie+garlic, the one missing two slices is a Baloo+garlic.

Pizza is fire cooked. You can watch the food being made. Has a bar. Drinks are mainly water , wine and beer.

We stopped in during a road trip from Texas to the Rocky Mountains. Trinidad has a nice downtown not far off the highway. It was easy to park and we enjoyed walking around a little bit. We were seated and served quickly and the food was very good. They were friendly and accommodating for my picky non-pizza eating kid. We would return again.

Not your average small town wood fire pizza joint, great pizza, service and cold pbr on tap! Try the hangover pie, its the best!!

To be honest, I was lured by a review it was the best pizza I ever had , maybe it raised my expectations. But it definitely wasn 't my best pizza. It was ok! The place was a little bit loud too, I 'm not used to eat places like that.
