Blue Quill Family Restaurant - Trochu

Worst service and food experience in San Diego. We went for dinner and had our order wrong, then got a burnt burger. Tried breakfast today and it was not good at all. My toast tasted like plastic (so odd!! potatoes were cold and soggy (asked for extra crispy , eggs extremely undercooked for what we asked for. Mentioned it to our waitress who said that she would never eat there, never offered to have anything remade or even compensate. I paid $16 for three pieces of bacon essentially this morning. She did not care at all. Asked to speak to a manager and she said they all wish that the manager was around more but they don’t care either. So… not very good service either!

This is a great please to eat! Very welcoming family run restaurant ,with great prices! The food is always fast ,fresh and hot. With large portions.Best sesame chicken EVER! The dry rubs are so yummy! Check it out you won’t be disappointed!This is my son and I’s favorite place in Trochu,they do breakfast lunch and dinner.We are there at least once a week?

Very helpful and friendly staff, excellent food, good portion sizes they include veggies, garlic toast, potatoes along with soup or salad with your entree. Can’t beat that and was not a long wait.

Stopped here with a photography group for lunch. Food was fast for our group of nine and everyone enjoyed their meal. Would definitely stop here again and recommend it to anyone who is in the Trochu area.
