I have noticed a reflection in practices thus improving the process. They could watch the site to include bakery item instead of having to call ahead however very accommodating when asked and will adjust your order! Very happy to stay outdoors and get good food and service! Thank you!
Great food and other provisions but their coronavirus policy is ridiculous. It could be open to masked customers but it chooses to require everyone to order ahead. Their website is subpar so many orders have to be placed over the phone, every call ending with the annoying question, how much of a tip would you like to leave? Maybe if you opened up and allowed walk-in customers like you could, people would be more apt to give tips. For time being, Wellfleet Market seems like a much more logical alternative.
Outrageous prices set by new owners. Now it's called Truro General Store. The new counter is horrific Just plain unfriendly. Why??? Sad. Don't bring your children with you as there really isn't much for them. Terrible candy selection for kids Don't know if food is good yet but willing to try. The old Jams was a lot more family friendly.
What a delight to experience Jam 's this morning. First they have actual newspapers! A huge plus when on vacation. But they have so much more like the friendly service at checkout, and carefully curated grocery options for putting fun food offerings together either on the beach or at your rental. This place has nailed it in providing a 'one stop ' experience for those on vacation or for the locals. I look forward to frequent visits (and trying the yummy list of made to order sandwich offerings for days at the beach!
Jams is on its third owners now who promised nothing would change . Yet everything has . Although its always had a paltry selection of general groceries, JAMS used to be reliable for fantastic breakfast pastries, a high quality assortment of cheeses, produce, and other items, and a great sandwich menu. Its prime was under the second owners, Dawn and Sebastian Snow. The new and third owner doesn 't seem to have a clue as to what appeals to the local crowd the cinnamon rolls went from being fresh, glazed and superb to raisin stuffed, frosted, gooey, artificial tasting and inedible (a plus only in that I am no longer tempted by them). Natural unflavored Greek yogurt has been replaced by Yoplait. OInly packaged pre sliced cheese is sold, and the decades old sandwich menu has been changed and truncated. Why would anyone mess with the best things about this store?
