Truro Big Stop - Truro Heights

Went for breakfast. So greasy uneatable. Showed to waitress and she replaced the breakfast. The new breakfast wasn?t any better. So disappointing. You can see the grease on theplates

First of all we waited 40 mins for our meal!! Then when we finally got it my pan fried haddock was great!! But the Caesar salad you could tell it was sitting for awhile like literally warm!! The dressing on top was clear!! Obviously from sitting! Then my husband got Alfredo that the chicken was burnt but still served!! Been a cook for 34 yrs I know my food!! Not a good experience for me at all!!

We were on our way through to New Brunswick from the Annapolis Valley and we decided to stop here for lunch. We have a big stop locally and it's always a good place to stop and eat. We stopped here because we are familiar with the menu options and we are familiar with their entire setup because it's relatively consistent across all of their establishments. My children had the chicken strips with fries. My wife had wings and I had a Caesar wrap. We ate a couple of weeks ago at a or at least what was supposed to be an upscale restaurant and the chicken salad Caesar wrap was absolutely dreadful. The one that I got from here however at the big stop was very delicious. The kids enjoyed their food and my wife complimented about how good the wings were. It was affordable and comfortable. The food was better quality than what was expected and what we've had in the past. We were quite happy with our experience today

Great staff. Great food. Can be very busy at times but the staff handle their tasks no matter what time of day and alway with a smile.

Tucked away little gem for the traveler. Has an attached restaurant to eat at, clean bathrooms, trucker's lounge and showers (for truckers of course). Also have a good selection of travel supplies from CB radios and accessories, inverters, basic safety equipment, log books, and more. Where its tucked off the road a bit, its less busy then some of the other places around.
