My brother Frank took me. Yeah, it's in a strip ball, but that's all! The food was absolutely delicious. With great depth of aromas. We had the 2" thick pork chops with asparagus and bread pudding that was incredible. I had the duck and it was cut in middle rare pieces with a filled squash cup that went heavenly together. We also had the homemade soups. Mouth irrigation curry and shrimps. My taste buds went to heaven. The owner and the chef Mark came and talked to us during our meal, which extended our time in his restaurant. There is a full bar and a nice beer selection. The service was fast and professional. I can't wait to go back. Very recommended. A beautiful jewel.
We had two great meals here. The smoked double cut pot Chop is amazing and the French onion bread pudding is ineffective! If you are looking for fine food in Tualatin, you will not be disappointed.
I eat in top restaurants all over the country and Avanti is my favorite. The owners Mark and Jean are exceptionally good at the service and the employees and chefs are always friendly and the execution is consistently high. Every ingredient is made from scratch. The chef talent keeps me back and forth! Always a new dish to try to blow me away with taste and execution.
The simplest appetizer, olives sautéed in oil with cayenne, will become a household staple. Superb steak, excellent butterfly shrimp, generous pours, and awesome desserts; best cremé brulee ever! Spendy, but worth it.
