Mexicali Border Cafe - Tulsa

I can't complain about anything just was not exceptional. The food was a little better than okay as was the service. Atmosphere was lacking but nothing that would make me not want to come back. But nothing was good enough for me to go out of my way to go back.

Place is really good. Have eaten here many time and even gone in just to have a few drinks and chips.

The service and atmosphere were great- The food was not as good as I remember from a previous visit. Ordered mixed shrimp and steak fajitas. Shrimp was good but the steak was so rubbery- just awful. Rice and beans were maybe room temp. Not sure if we will return

We had our work holiday party at Mexicali. The food was amazing , as always. Best white queso and enchiladas in Tulsa! The wait staff was top-notch. Even with 30 people, the kitchen was able to get our orders out quickly. We had a great time!!

Always enjoy lunch or dinner at Mexicali, a Tulsa institution for decades! Great food and service.
