The prices at Rodrigo's are great, a bit higher than Don's but still lower than most places. The flavor, quality, and portion sizes are definitely worth the slightly higher prices. The burritos are large and come with extra toppings like guacamole without additional charges. The meat is high quality and not filled with excess fat and gristle like at Don's. I will definitely be a repeat customer at Rodrigo's.
The Birria tacos are too expensive considering they have more cheese and onions than meat. Where is the meat? Despite lacking in meat, the flavor was good. I would give it a 2 out of 5 rating.
I recently visited this restaurant and ordered 3 burritos, but was disappointed to find that they were filled mostly with fat. I had to remove meat from one burrito just to fill up another. The beans appeared old and the rice was very dry. I was charged over $15 for each burrito, which contained very little meat and a lot of fat and grease. The burrito was so thin that it felt more like a quesadilla. I find it hard to believe that this place has such high reviews. I suspect that they may have been written by friends, family, or even employees.
Very impressed to say the least. I've I've wanting to try this place out for a year now but with all the taco stands around here, you usually stick to the same ones that you know before hand that are good. I was extremely satisfied. I was in the lineduring rush hour for tops 6 minutes. The food is amazing!!! The taste is spot on, definitely authentic Mexican food, and theportions were big!!!
First time eating here, will be back and we usually travel from B.A. to Don Gloria's when we are craving hispanic foods! Friendly service. We ordered the beef burrito, tamale, cheese enchilada and pablano. All delicious, coated in a uniquetasting red sauce.
