I bring my children at least once a week and it's brilliant. the children love to play freedom and interact with everyone while I sit down and eat and drink something without having too much care. the homemade cake and eat is delicious and everyone is so beautiful and welcoming. a little jewel for a busy mother.
My 1st time here. I met my daughter in law granddaughter here in 2nd lockdown u can't sit in at the moment but u can get takeaway coffee and really delicious cakes we also took some rocky rd home my husband said it was the best he had tasted, lots of biscuit and marshmallow not to much chocolate, very nice people serving. I also noticed there was a child area in the cafe so when lockdown is over mums and dads can relax while the kids can play There is also a little play area outside nearby which we took advantage of, plenty of benches to sit and chat and a good place to walk your dog. We had a lovely morning.
Great place for children and families. Not open on weekends which is a shame, bit it is still a working sports pavilion so you can't fault it that. Food and coffee is not mind blowing, but nice enough for a space that is tolerant of your 3 year old screaming around making a mess. They have a small play area with toys and dressing up clothes.
A small jewel of a place for coffee, meet ups, place to rent and much more. the space is large, adjacent to play fields and green area. it is welcoming and very child-friendly. eating is great. appropriate free parking also. directly next to the village hall (another place to rent.)
