Contribuisci feedbackThe posted hours indicate that they are open until 8 PM, but when we arrived at 7:48, we were met with rudeness and informed that they were closed. There was no apology for closing early; in fact, the man who spoke to us was quite snarky. We definitely won't be returning, and I recommend you avoid this place as well. It's not worth your time or money to support an establishment that doesn’t respect its posted hours and lacks courtesy when it fails to meet them.
Visit this place for the extraordinarily generous roast beef sub and the tasty mocha milkshake, rather than for the hospitality. The service was quick and efficient, but almost lacking in warmth. The woman at the register appeared as though she'd rather be anywhere else, making me feel somewhat unwelcome. I attempted to be friendly, but it seemed to have the opposite effect, which was almost amusing. Nonetheless, the food was really good, and the service was fast.
I've been a frequent visitor to this restaurant, but my recent experience with one employee has left me disappointed. I visited their new location hoping for a better experience, but I was charged for a child's cone and an extra dollar for Oreos, which felt excessive considering the small size. I could have simply gone to Friendly's, where my son would have received his cone for free without the added charge for Oreos! The blonde employee really needs to improve her customer service skills; instead of being welcoming, she appeared as if she would rather be anywhere else.
I have never encountered such rude behavior from a restaurant before. It's truly unbelievable, and I know I'm not alone in feeling this way. Given the countless reviews detailing similar experiences (just look at Google reviews), you'd think they would make an effort to improve their politeness. My family and I spend at least $20 a week here, including purchases for my young child, my teenager, her friends, and their entire tennis team. If my daughter has another unpleasant experience with the unfriendly woman at the counter, I will have to address the situation personally. It's simply unacceptable to treat a child poorly. We spend our hard-earned money here, so they need to drop the negative attitude and remember the basic manners we all learned in kindergarten! If someone is that unhappy, perhaps this job isn't the right fit for them!
The grinder was enormous—plenty to share between two people. The soft-serve was just as large; the kiddie cone was more than enough for me!
