The location and grounds are fantastic. The restaurant was great. Our room was tiny and very expensive. They seemed perpetually short staffed which is not expected at this price point.Rooms: 2/5

What a lakeside beauty! This place is really secluded and just a fantastic getaway from the city. You won't be disappointed in this place. I can breathe again thanks to this place.Rooms: Great rooms and living space. Spacious and clean as well.

A gorgeous place to stay – we honeymooned here for 5 nights and couldn’t get enough. The kitchen is very well appointed – we comfortably cooked several meals instead of eating out. The grill is a dream – very impressive features. The view and the crashing of the waves of Lake Superior simply can’t be beat. So many activities available, indoor and out, and lots of fun parks and restaurants nearby. The cottage was clean and quiet, even with other guests nearby. The interior is very well appointed (especially the kitchen, with a generous assortment of prep items) and certainly lives up to the photos online. The staff was pleasant and helpful. This lodge is unique in that it's set back from the road almost 1/4 mile with dense trees in-between, so it was very quiet and secluded. We so thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

If you want a great place on the lake with all the amenities of a beaches resort but on lake superior. Well here it is! The hand out smores kits for the firepits! The cottages are something you always dreamed about! Everything is amazing.Rooms: 5/5
