Contribuisci feedback90% of the menu with the same orientation as any other Thai restaurant in Australia. the ordered 2 dishes and found thai basilikum leaves were air-dried and old. missing aromen and too sweet. has not enjoyed eating and not recommended for people who love quality Thai. food 22 pork Thai style chili and basilikum sauce and 34 Thai ice cream. disappoint.
I tried this restaurant for the first time with some friends for dinner. The staff was very friendly. The pad thai, tom yum, and massaman dishes were all incredibly delicious. We ended the meal with fried ice cream, which was fantastic. I plan to book a table here for my upcoming birthday party. I am confident that this place will become very popular in the near future. It is also good value for the price.
This place is a hidden gem. So much that we went back three times within a week after we found this place! First two times was only with another friend, we dined as a bigger group of 7 for dinner before we flew out of...Sydney the following day. The authentic taste and reasonably prices stood out and keep going back. All of us were very happy with the food and thoughtful service. We ordered a couple of dishes to share but the barbecue beef named Crying Tiger stood out for most of us when it was served sizzling. I really like the classic dishes Pad See Ew and Tom Yum soup. This place was facing a courtyard and not in plain sight along the street so it was a nice quiet chill out place. We get to chat a little with the server and chef afterwards and found them to be the owners of this place. That explains the special touch to the food and service! Will be sure to go back the next time when I am in Sydney.
We ordered the dinner entrees of curry and pad thai prawn at this restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the fresh prawns. We highly recommend this place and give it a 5-star rating!
I am a big fan of this restaurant. I don't understand why the Malaysian Thai restaurant next door is so busy when Gang Som is clearly the better choice. The restaurant has a clean and modern layout and the staff is extremely friendly. Everything on the menu is fresh, flavorful, and simply delicious. The curries are delicious, the pad thai is the best I've ever had, and the mixed entree is clearly made to order and fresh. I also love the fresh and spicy "ground noodles". I have never had a bad meal here. The value for money is incredible, with a mixed entree to share, saffron coleslaw for two, black and red curry, and a chicken pillow thai, all for under $40. It's so affordable. We also brought our own bottle of wine and only paid a small corkage fee, making it under $20 per person. You can't find a deal like that anywhere else in Sydney. I highly recommend this place - hands down, the best Thai restaurant in Sydney.
