We had lunch here on Saturday 12th and thoroughly enjoyed it. We told them we had to get to the airport afterwards to catch a flight and they went the extra mile to get us our food quickly. After reading the amazing reviews, my partner made a reservation for us to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary at The Grill Room. The hype and excitement was short lived by the pretentiousness and suffocating ostentatiousness of the servers, decor and host and the sadly the food! Poached Pears and tomato relish (thai beef salad) was a fail from just reading it on the menu the beef was beautiful, everything else not so much. Steak Diane that had only one flavourful note.. a seafood curry with scorched pieces of fish (this however was replaced and sent in a take away container) .. this establishment is still living in its past glory says and even in the moments of reinvention are failing perhaps they need for intervention (like a new head chef to create moderate, tasteful menu) and leave the steak Diane and tableside theatrics in the 90's Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
