The room is simple and clean, everything seems very efficient. My bibimbap was very good can you believe it was my first time with this dish?? The sides were also very good and waiter brought over some kimchi for me to try which was very good as well. Im not in this area very often but when I am I will come back for sure!
I had no idea Union City had such a great authentic Korean restaurant. My friend took a few of us for a Saturday night dinner last month and he had called just an hour or so before we were set to arrive. Although the restaurant is on the small side, we were able to secure a table. Our group likes to eat and we nearly ordered half the menu to share family style. For me, I liked the Japchae(stir fried glass noodles) and especially the Galbi Jjim(Pork Rib). They also serve you fresh home made Kimchi which is among the top Kimchi I've ever had at a Korean restaurant. Our waitress was very sweet and service was amazing. If you do come here, I suggest you come here with at least a party of 4 so you can enjoy and share as much of the menu as possible.
One of the best Korean spots in the Bay Area for sure! I was craving something hearty and found this place while looking for a dinner spot. Ordered the kimchi pancake and the seolleongtang and wow it was such an amazing meal. The kimchi pancake came first and our server cut it up for us. The kimchi flavor was strong which I loved and it had a little spiciness to it. The seolleongtang was also an amazing dish it was super flavorful and the beef was so tender! Absolutely loved this dish. They also had a few side dishes but the best part was the freshly cut kimchi that they brought to the table. Tasted super fermented and you could tell it was good quality kimchi!
The food was tasty but very little portion for the amount paid. That was disappointing considering the price of noodles it seemed overpriced.
Came back for the new menu items. Seafood pancakes are great. Very crispy and flavorful throughout. It's nice that seafood is evenly spread rather than having large chunks. Sauce is nice as an extra dimension. Tofu Soup is solid. A nice umami taste that shines or with rice. The individual ingredients also stand out, so nothing is too overbearing. Could be spicier for me, but that's personal preference.
