Don't miss out on the delicious homemade butter and bread. It was absolutely delicious! This is a place we will definitely be coming back to!
Melissa Cookston's steak-focused restaurant is top-notch. The crab cakes, made with real lump crabmeat, were delicious. The house-made hand-churned butter served with jalapeño cornbread or pretzel rolls was a nice touch. The steaks were flavorful and prepared perfectly. It's surprising that the restaurant isn't more crowded, as the staff, which includes employees from her Memphis BBQ Co, provides great service with fresh ingredients.
We both ordered filet mignon and they were excellent - one of the few places that actually knows how to cook it to medium-rare perfection. The service was also very good. I heard that this restaurant is owned by the same people as Memphis BBQ, but I'm not completely sure.
The sauteed mushrooms were the best I have had in my LIFE!!! Michael was my server, I sat at the bar. Even though he was busy he made sure O had everything I needed. The service was AWESOME! I also had the ribeye, ordered medium rare, came out cooked to perfection!!! The bacon mac n cheese was also delicious. I highly recommend!!!
The steak was great but it was not a filet as indicated on the menu. The loaded baked potato was great. The salad was great. The unlimited bread selections and herbed butter were great. It was the grouper pasta that ruined the entire experience. It was inedible and had a bad odor to it. Yeah I know...eat steak at a steakhouse!!
