It is literally your bread and butter. To be fair, I did taste the tea flavor in the drink, however the whole experience was extremely disappointing.
After waiting for 20 minutes in the cafe, they finally decided to start making our boba (take into account we were the only customers there). Then, after another 13 minutes, we finally received our sub par boba. They somehow figured out how to make it neither milk nor tea flavored but an entirely flavorless, room temperature, drink. I could have gotten better boba from Kung Fu Tea downstairs in half the time. Very disappointing.
I came to the store because of all the beautiful pictures on yelp....extremely disappointed when I arrived. The whole vibe is very sad just like the shop is about to close down. Dim light, paint chipped and dirty floor. The big bear was there, but it laid over the corner with some dust and stain. Cashier area is boarded up. I didn't order boba tea but instead I ordered coffee. It is decent but nothing outstanding. But the biggest turn off is I got the plastic cup for hot drink (well the cashier didn't ask me if I want cold or hot btw). Yes plastic cup for hot drink. The whole experience is so weird, it is like you follow dream on Instagram and the reality hit it so hard on you.
I do not know if they moved locations, but the inside definitely does not look like their pictures from the website. The sketchy inside aside, the boba drink I got was great and the menu is very expansive! The worker Recommended a strawberry drink and it was yummy! I added boba. The cup it came in was thick plastic, which I liked, but I wish it came with a straw. This is not a place I would hang out in, but it's good for takeout!
The drinks were great and even the packaging/cup design was well made and well thought out. My friend ordered the Starry Night which was so cool to see! It really does swirl around and glitter stunning! I ordered the Cafe Breva, which was very smooth; I liked the espresso. The location is a bit tricky. It's on the second floor, which was difficult with my limited mobility. And they must have changed their set up because it was very small inside. Only a few tables in reality, but some of the pictures on here show a much bigger space. Also, we were disappointed that there was no food or snacks available to order. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 is because the drinks were great and they said their baker/food source actually moved away and they haven't been able to find a new one yet. And maybe the location changed because they had to downsize. I understand stuff changes, but it was just a disappointment.
